MetroWo is an American software company based in Illinois, built by a team whose combined engineering and metrology experience adds up to more than 60 years. That experience runs deep: from founding the laboratories of a national metrology institute to leading engineering companies that delivered precision measurement systems still in use today, to running quality and accreditation programs across commercial calibration laboratories in the United States. What started as engineers solving measurement problems for research institutes and universities became, in the United States, a company built around a single idea - and its flagship product, GageEye, has been running in real calibration labs since 2018.
We believe calibration software should get out of the way, not add to the paperwork. Every product in the MetroWo ecosystem - from automated gage reading to full lab management - is built on-premises first, priced for labs just getting started rather than enterprise budgets, and designed to remove the small manual mistakes that quietly cost labs their accreditation. Our goal is simple: give every calibration lab, regardless of size, the same traceability and confidence that used to be reserved for the biggest players.

With more than 30 years of experience in metrology and calibration, Aysegul Konu brings deep technical and quality-management expertise to MetroWo. She began her career in 1992 as part of the founding team that established the laboratories of Türkiye's National Metrology Institute, later serving as Deputy Technical Manager and Quality Manager at commercial calibration laboratories, and building and managing calibration labs - spanning dimensional, electrical, temperature and humidity, pressure, and torque measurement - for Türkiye's largest aircraft maintenance company. In 2015 she relocated to the United States, and has since held senior technical and quality leadership roles at commercial calibration laboratories in Charlotte, NC. She is an A2LA and ANAB Lead Assessor and a member of the A2LA Accreditation Council, and holds an M.Sc. in Physics Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. She is fluent in English, German, and Turkish.

Mert Konu brings more than three decades of engineering leadership to MetroWo. He is an Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer by training (Yıldız Technical University), and holds an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Marmara University, a Ph.D. in Space Communication from Istanbul Technical University, and an MBA from Istanbul University. He has founded and led engineering companies for more than three decades, directing automation, energy monitoring and control, and building-management software projects end to end - including national-scale certification software adopted by government programs. That blend of hands-on entrepreneurial leadership and academic depth is what he brings to MetroWo: he designs and leads its measurement and calibration software with the same systems-engineering discipline, including the metrology work described in MetroWo's Success Stories. He is fluent in French, English, and Turkish.
